For more of my guide to eating, drinking and having fun, please see: Day's Forever Wandering.
USHIGORO is a very famous yakiniku chain store. The high-end series with S. has only two branches, one in GINZA (Ginza) and NISHIAZABU (Nishi-Azabu).
The one I ate at was located in Nishi-Azabu. The store is on the basement floor. The storefront is small and doesn’t look impressive, but when you walk in, it’s a magical place. The store offers four packages. Adhering to the mentality of coming here, we booked the best COURSE K.
Shopping in Omotesando before going to Nishi-Azabu for dinner. What a beautiful night.
After dinner, I took a walk in nearby Roppongi. Because of the song "Roppongi Pure Heart School", I had a good impression of Roppongi.
游びtamれたroppongi 真情ゆらすのよ Boogie Woogie
What wonderful night!
The name Roppongi comes from six trees. Legend has it that in the Edo period, six families whose surnames all had the Chinese character for "木" lived here. Now it is famous for its nightlife and gathering of Westerners.
As for whether it is Roppongi that is familiar with fun, or Roppongi that is full of pure love, only you can experience it yourself. But no matter what, everyone can spend a WONDERFUL NIGHT in Roppongi!
Next, let’s open the WONDERFUL MENU of this WONDERFUL NIGHT!
Let’s start with a menu, COURSE K.
The first course, steamed egg custard with truffle soft seeds.
The black truffle is super fragrant, I like it.
The second course, oyster hand-rolled beef sushi.
Before rolling it up, I urgently picked out the perilla that I hate the most. The texture of raw beef is my favorite.
The third course, smoked beef tartare with caviar.
The smokey taste is so delicious.
The fourth course, six kinds of seasonal vegetables.
Fifth course, beef tongue. Course six, transversus abdominis steak.
These two are put together.
Take a bite of the beef tongue, it is so tender and juicy that it explodes.
The seventh course, ribeye steak with snow crab, is cooked in shabu-shabu style.
Course 8, salad.
Even the salads in this store are delicious!
Course 9, grilled tenderloin steak sandwich with truffle.
Needless to say, this dish is so delicious that even the wagyu beef sandwich doesn’t taste bad.
Tenth Lane, Selected West It's cold and cooked in the shabu-shabu style.
The sirloin is stuffed with green onions and has a very special texture.
The eleventh course, plum pork and truffles, is cooked in the sukiyaki style.
The twelfth course, pickles.
The legendary Japanese kimchi, I didn’t plan to take pictures at first, but after taking a bite, I thought it was delicious, so I started taking pictures.
It feels more delicious than Korean kimchi.
Course 13, matsutake and beef kamameshi.
It’s super delicious. I’ve always loved kamameshi. And because the portion of COURSE was very large, we were already full when we arrived at Kamamon. The waiter helped us pack the uneaten portion into rice balls, which were triangular in shape and very cute.
Course 14, Uji matcha ice cream.
COURSE K, including various parts of beef and various preparation methods, especially Japanese-style shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, etc., I feel very satisfied!
If you go to Tokyo and want to try it, remember to make a reservation.
