Clark/Angel City-Embarrassing moments from the Philippines trip 2
There was no suitable flight and I had to stay in Clark for one night. The plane from Guangzhou to Manila landed at T3 terminal, and the plane from Manila to El Nido departed from T4 terminal.        The result of the discussion was to go to Terminal 4 to see if I could buy a ticket on the spot. The two terminals are not close to each other, so you can take the free bus or take a taxi.        There were two Filipino guys at the bus station. One said we must take a yellow taxi, which is more formal and costs about 300 pesos. The other took the initiative to take us to a taxi, which was too enthusiastic. During the walk, he told us that it would cost 900 pesos, so that was it. Let's build it ourselves.        It was already past 11 o'clock, and my daughter complained that she was hungry. She had to rebook her flight and have a meal at the airport first. One hamburger for one person, it was not very tasty and felt shoddy.        After eating, I dragged my luggage and my daughter out of the airport. A middle-aged woman immediately came over and asked us where we were going and if we wanted a ride. I asked how much. She said it twice, but seeing that I was still confused, she just took a pen and wrote on her hand, 950 pesos, forget it. Based on my experience last time, I still look for the grab site, which is more formal for hailing taxis.        Get to T4 smoothly, 225 pesos. The terminal building is not allowed to enter. There is a house across the road with something like "ticket" written on it. It should be selling air tickets. Asked in the past, it turns out that in the Philippines, each airline sells its own tickets. The route from Manila to El Nido is an airline called airswift. You have to go to this company to buy tickets.        There is an office of airswift in the terminal building. There is a girl and a boy inside. I communicated with this girl using translation software for more than 2 hours in this office. All the air tickets to El Nido have been sold out in the past few days. The only way is that there will be a flight from Clark to El Nido at 9 am tomorrow morning. You can stay one night in Manila or Clark tonight. That's all. Of course, it's safer to live in Clark. When I bought the ticket for this flight in this office, it was already past 2 pm. When I went out, I wanted to take a taxi to Clark. I asked the staff at the airport taxi station and they said it was 5,000 pesos. He suggested going back to Terminal 3 and taking the bus to Clark Airport.        I took a taxi back to T3 and the driver asked for 500 pesos. When we asked the staff at the grab station, she also suggested taking a bus and pointed us to the bus station. Listen to others' advice, eat enough, and take a bus. A family of four arrived in Clark for 1,520 pesos, a 2-hour drive. Then stay in a hotel. We set off from the hotel and rushed to the airport at 7 o'clock the next morning, which was relatively smooth.        I met two Chinese people in the airport terminal. Their experiences were the same as ours, or even worse than ours. They also missed their flight from Manila to El Nido and found an agent to buy a flight from Clark to El Nido. The agent charged more than 7,000 yuan. Because we bought the tickets from the airline, we spent the normal ticket price, about 4,000 yuan for a family of four.        After that, we took a flight, transferred to a bus, and took a boat, arriving at the place where we stayed in El Nido at 12 noon.
