We were studying in a language school in Baguio, and we went to Manila for the last week. Since we were here, we took a five-hour joy bus from Baguio to Manila at 1:00 a.m. (our legs were numb). We stayed at Somerset Central Salcedo Makati Hotel.
On the first morning, we visited many museums. Including the National Museum of Fine Arts, Archdiocese of Manila, Kate dral of Manila, and Fort Santiago. I forgot the others. They were all nearby and only two minutes away from another museum. The weather was very hot. In the afternoon, we went to Venice and BGC. Toni & Sergio (lunch), the pizza and pasta were pretty good, and we ate too much for two people. Dr.Wine (dinner), this bistro has a great atmosphere, there is a candle on each table, but it is a little dazzling, and the food is just okay, a little salty. I had a cup of matcha at ARABICA (a little more bitter than I expected).
The next day, we went directly to SM mall of Asia. Haidilao (lunch), Manila's SM mall is the largest in Asia, and Manila is the only place in the Philippines that has Haidilao. I unexpectedly discovered that almost all the people at Haidilao are Chinese, and the staff can speak Chinese. The sweet soup here is actually matcha! It's really great for matcha lovers, and you can also make bracelets for free outside. After eating, I took the joy bus back to school because the curfew is 10:00 pm on Sundays, otherwise I would like to stay a little longer.
