JEWELS means jewelry. This high-altitude night view restaurant is worthy of being a pearl on the top of Moiwa Mountain in Sapporo. Sapporo night view is one of the three new night views in Japan and it is worth visiting. The viewing location is located on Moiwa Mountain. The restaurant is located on Moiwa Mountain and you can directly reach the view after dining. Viewpoint.
Tram transportation is very convenient. Take the Sapporo Municipal Tram (200 yen/person) and get off at [Tram Worksho-mae] station. You can then walk a short distance to reach the Moiwa Mountain Cable Car connection. There will be a shuttle bus that will take you to the cable car. Click [Shanlu Station]. When you order at Jewels, you will receive free cable car tickets for up and down the mountain. There is no need to purchase them separately. Just tell us at the ticket window that you are going to the restaurant to dine and state your name. There are exactly four of us and we have collected cable car tickets for the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Make a reservation directly on the official website. Be sure to reserve a seat by the window. The food will be even more delicious when you watch the million-dollar night view. If you don’t make a reservation, don’t worry. Remember to dine until 20 o’clock. The restaurant will turn off the lights on time for everyone to take photos at 20 o’clock. The waiter will also enthusiastically help you take photos and record the beautiful moments. On that day, there were customers by the window who left first after finishing their meal and specifically asked the waiter if they could sit by the window and take pictures.
There are three packages to choose from: Jewels, Lumiere, and Eclat. Just by looking at the names, you can tell that the first one is recommended by the chef, and the prices are also in descending order: Jewels (12,100 yen/person), Lumiere (8,800 yen/person), and Eclat (6,380 yen/person) (non-window prices). I wanted to try every set meal, but I found that I could only order one set meal per table, so I ordered the cheapest one. I thought about changing it after I went, but it turned out that the dishes were prepared in advance and I couldn't change it. Other Japanese couples who are dating basically all book the Jewels package. It is also the only package option that includes real steak. I recommend that everyone has enough budget to spend this time. You will not regret it. The main course of the mid-range Lumiere is trout. The dishes of the day will be placed on the table in the form of small cards. There are 6 dishes in total including appetizers and desserts, so I won’t comment on them one by one. Why do I say that the Jewels set is real steak? Because the Eclat main course also says wagyu, and it turns out to be minced wagyu beef.
All in all, I can only say "can eat" about the taste, but the price matches the beautiful view. After dinner, I went to the observation deck upstairs to see the night view and browse the souvenir shop. I have to say that Sapporo is very windy at night in winter, so you must wear a hat. Be careful not to miss the cable car time. The beautiful scenery and cable car timetable are last.
